Job Summary
Processing multi-state payrolls, the full-time Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using Workday and ADP, ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies while working remotely from designated states.
Key responsibilities
- Complete processing of multi-state payrolls for hourly and salaried employees by established deadlines
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions, while auditing employee time and labor data
- Generate payroll reports and respond to employee inquiries regarding paycheck amounts and deductions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent payroll experience
- A minimum of two years processing multi-state payrolls
- Experience with Workday and ADP preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state tax laws and wage policies
