Multimedia Content Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance the visibility of the Computer Science department, the full-time Multimedia Content Specialist will identify and produce engaging multimedia stories across various platforms, including video, social media, and podcasts, while building relationships with faculty and students both in-person and remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies, develops, and produces multimedia content that highlights departmental achievements and activities for diverse audiences
- Manages projects from concept through production, creating content for digital platforms and maintaining a consistent flow of high-quality material
- Collaborates with university communications and external partners to support multimedia initiatives and enhance the department's online presence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two or more years of professional experience in multimedia production, digital media, or a related field
- Proficiency with video editing software and experience producing content for digital platforms
- Demonstrated ability to identify compelling stories and develop content tailored for different audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with faculty, students, and external partners
