Job Summary
Seeking a remote MUMPS Software Engineer, the full-time position will develop, enhance, and maintain applications while collaborating with the Principal MUMPS Architect on implementation strategies, complex issues, and code reviews.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, modify, test, and maintain MUMPS routines and related application logic
- Implement and troubleshoot XML parsing, generation, and data mapping within the established application framework
- Perform unit testing and support regression, user acceptance, and release validation testing
Required qualifications
- Hands-on MUMPS development experience, including modifying existing routines and working with globals
- Working knowledge of FileMan, including files, fields, and data dictionaries
- Understanding of XML structure and the ability to read and interpret structured data
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
