Job Summary
Supporting testing and quality assurance activities for mission-critical healthcare applications, the full-time MUMPS Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, validate software enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications operating in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
- Support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities while verifying data integrity across legacy healthcare applications
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to validate requirements and document testing metrics, defects, and status reports
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or system validation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Experience supporting legacy applications and long-lived mission-critical systems
