Job Summary

Serving as a part-time remote Music Education Dissertation Chair, the successful candidate will administer dissertation courses, provide mentorship and feedback, and maintain communication with students regarding their academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Administer dissertation courses according to the assigned schedule
• Provide detailed feedback and mentorship to students to foster intellectual and spiritual growth
• Maintain contact with students to advise on academic achievement, attendance, and behavior

Required qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. in Music Education, Doctor of Music Education, or DMA in Music Education)
• Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level
• Strong organizational skills for timely completion of assignments and tasks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and online learning management systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
