MVA Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

Managing an inventory of motor vehicle and health insurance claims, the remote Revenue Recovery Specialist, MVA will resolve accounts for payment, maintain professional communication with payers, and utilize web-based portals to ensure efficient recovery of medical payments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts for medical payments, third-party liability, and health benefits coverage, including new and priority accounts
• Identify and resolve accounts with multiple payers involved and prepare appeals with required documentation
• Maintain professional relationships with payer representatives, patients, and attorneys through effective communication

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of experience with MVA claims and health claims preferred
• Proven results in collecting on hospital claims from insurance companies
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Experience with EPIC preferred
