MVA/TPL Resolution Specialist
Job Summary
To support timely reimbursement processes, the full-time MVA/TPL Resolution Specialist I will investigate, document, and resolve hospital accounts related to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Third-Party Liability (TPL) claims while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate potential MVA/TPL accounts through established client criteria and workflows
- Conduct communication with patients, insurance carriers, and attorneys to gather necessary information for account resolution
- Prepare and submit claim documentation, including itemized statements and medical records, while monitoring lien status and follow-up activities
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or related fields preferred
- Familiarity with insurance claims and healthcare billing processes is essential
- MVA/TPL or liability claims experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including patients and insurance representatives
- Experience with patient accounting systems such as EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech is preferred but not required
