Navy Planning Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations for the U.S. Navy, the remote Navy Planning Subject Matter Expert will serve as the primary liaison between the project team and Navy business stakeholders, ensuring that planning-related processes align with the Navy's operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the project team and Navy leadership on Navy planning processes
• Facilitate workshops with Navy business users to validate requirements and demonstrate system functionality
• Develop test scenarios and support user acceptance testing to ensure the system meets business needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or 7-10 years of experience without a degree
• Direct experience working within the U.S. Navy or supporting Navy logistics and planning
• Extensive knowledge of Navy supply chain, maintenance, and material planning processes
• Familiarity with Navy-specific terminology, regulations, and organizational structures
• Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 investigation) required
