NCR POS Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting and optimizing point-of-sale systems for large-scale retail operations, the hybrid NCR POS Subject Matter Expert will provide advanced support for NCR platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for NCR point-of-sale platforms, ensuring high availability and operational performance
- Troubleshoot complex POS, payment, and fuel system issues by analyzing logs and data to identify root causes
- Own incident and problem management activities, collaborating with internal teams and vendors for timely resolutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience supporting NCR POS platforms, including Retalix R10, Radiant, CX7, and 770x environments
- Experience supporting retail payment systems and fuel technologies, including site controllers and fuel dispenser integrations
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and log analysis using POS logs and diagnostic tools
- Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and service management processes
