Nebraska Licensed Associate Actuary

Job Summary

Seeking a Nebraska Licensed Associate Actuary, the full-time remote professional will serve as a key risk advisor within the Enterprise Risk Management team, providing independent actuarial insights on business growth, acquisitions, and risk assessments for the Property & Casualty sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ERM partner for Protective's P&C businesses, including the Asset Protection Division and Excess and Surplus line
• Provide independent actuarial advice on risk-taking activities, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives
• Analyze profitability, underwriting performance, and capital impacts while developing key risk metrics and monitoring processes

Required Qualifications

• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation
• At least seven years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance or related actuarial fields
• Direct P&C actuarial experience with a strong understanding of P&C products and operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and capital management
• Experience translating technical analyses into actionable business insights and recommendations
