Job Summary
Investigating and resolving property damage and bodily injury claims, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Claims Examiner will evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with insurance contracts while working remotely or from the Omaha office.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate assigned claims and gather necessary information for evaluation and resolution
- Analyze coverage and determine the rights and obligations of all parties involved in claims
- Establish claim reserves and negotiate settlements within established authority
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of related work experience
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and claim procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications
- Experience with loss evaluation methods and claim resolution alternatives
