Job Summary
To support a mission-driven organization focused on improving access to high-quality brain health and dementia care, the part-time Nebraska Licensed Neurology Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and manage patients, conducting initial and follow-up sessions remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thoughtful and engaged patient sessions, including 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups
- Collaborate with other brain health care partners to ensure optimal treatment for patients
- Utilize evidence-based practices to implement outcome-focused care for patients with cognitive-behavioral disorders
Required qualifications
- Active Nebraska nurse practitioner license in good standing; multiple state licenses preferred
- Board certification from AANP or ANCC
- Experience with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, with a minimum of 2+ years in the field
- Strong clinical background in evaluating and managing cognitive-behavioral disorders
- Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment and tech-savvy with various systems and tools
