Job Summary
Providing psychiatric care in a 100% remote capacity, the part-time Nebraska Licensed Psychiatry Practitioner will deliver evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement patient care for individuals with mental disorders, working flexibly as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and initiate treatment based on DSM-V criteria
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and document treatment outcomes
Required qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure or Physician Assistant licensure in Nebraska
- Master of Science degree in Nursing or graduate degree from a Physician's Assistant program
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or completion of the Physician Assistant program
- Certification with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for prescriptive authority
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required
