Needs Assessment Consultant

Job Summary

To support the rehabilitation efforts in Venezuela following a recent earthquake, the part-time Needs Assessment Consultant will design and implement a comprehensive assessment to identify priority needs, evaluate existing services, and provide actionable recommendations for future programming in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the assessment methodology, including secondary data review and stakeholder mapping
• Lead qualitative primary data collection through key informant interviews and focus group discussions
• Analyze findings to identify service gaps and develop feasible program options and recommendations

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Significant experience in conducting humanitarian needs assessments or similar assignments
• Strong technical expertise in physical rehabilitation and continuity of care
• Knowledge of prosthetics and orthotics (P&O) services and assistive technology provision
• Proven qualitative research and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop practical program recommendations and indicative costings
