Nessus Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting daily operations of the Tenable Nessus vulnerability management platform, the full-time Nessus Administrator will configure and maintain Nessus scanners, execute security scans, and manage user access in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain Nessus scanners and related infrastructure
• Schedule and execute regular and ad hoc security scans of client systems
• Manage user access, permissions, and role-based controls within Nessus

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity or system administration experience with 2+ years supporting Nessus
• Strong understanding of vulnerability scanning workflows and remediation processes
• Familiarity with Tenable tools and integration methods
• Active Secret clearance required
• Hands-on experience with Nessus/Tenable vulnerability scanning tools
