.NET Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of robust backend services, the full-time .NET Backend Engineer will design, build, and maintain applications using .NET (C#) while working remotely across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices in a production environment, ensuring backward compatibility and optimizing performance
• Collaborate with QA during testing phases and manage deployment configurations in Kubernetes environments
• Identify technical debt, propose improvements, and participate in on-call rotations to handle production incidents

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience with C# / .NET (6+) and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework
• Experience writing Unit and Integration tests and understanding of software design principles
• Upper Intermediate proficiency in English, with experience in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform considered a plus
