.NET Developer

Job Summary

Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time .NET Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain secure applications and data integration solutions remotely using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL, and REST APIs.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure applications and data integration processes to support VA healthcare initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement software enhancements for interoperability and change management
• Participate in Agile development activities, including code reviews, testing, and deployment, while evaluating AI-assisted development tools

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of five years of software development experience with strong hands-on skills in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database development, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, as well as modern development tools and Agile methodologies
• Ability to perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis while ensuring secure and maintainable solutions
