Net Zero Manager, California

Job Summary

Leading supplier clean electricity acceleration, the full-time remote Net Zero Manager in California will design and implement strategies to support key suppliers in procuring clean electricity and reducing operational emissions, with a focus on both programmatic support and individual supplier engagement across various geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze supplier data by sector and geography to develop strategies for meeting clean energy goals
• Provide 1:1 transaction support to suppliers on procurement structures and execution of clean energy agreements
• Develop training content and tools to build supplier capacity for credible decarbonization pathways

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, energy, sustainability, business, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in clean energy procurement, program management, or corporate sustainability
• Demonstrated experience with renewable electricity procurement structures such as PPAs/VPPAs and green tariffs
• Working knowledge of GHG accounting principles and methods for recognizing emission reductions
• Experience delivering training and capacity-building programs to suppliers or external partners
