Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on network automation, this role will design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure while developing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible and Python to enhance operational efficiency and compliance in a secure financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across various environments including branch, campus, data center, and cloud
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions and reusable scripts to streamline network provisioning and operational tasks
• Monitor network performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability and security compliance

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies
• Hands-on experience with network automation and scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and API integrations for infrastructure automation
