Network Development Manager
Job Summary
Owning the commercial development and delivery of fiber network capacity, the full-time remote Network Development Manager will lead provider engagements, manage complex fiber route development, and conduct commercial negotiations while mentoring less-experienced team members.
Key responsibilities
- Own strategic relationships with telecommunications providers, managing performance and escalation
- Lead identification and evaluation of new fiber routes, making build-vs-buy recommendations
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and ensure delivery accountability against contractual milestones
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
- 5+ years of experience in network development or telecommunications, with a focus on fiber optic infrastructure
- Proven experience leading commercial negotiations in a telecommunications context
- Knowledge of fiber optic network concepts and delivery lifecycle
- Experience managing vendor relationships and driving cross-functional alignment
