Network Edge Security Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance API security and respond to emerging threats, the full-time Network Edge Security Engineer will manage network edge security tools, build infrastructure for security posture inventory, and develop AI-driven capabilities for traffic mitigation in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Respond and mitigate emerging threats at the network edge using WAF rules and CDN-native technologies
- Build and maintain a near-real-time streaming analytics data pipeline and application
- Contribute to the development of labeling and machine learning models for security improvements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software or security engineering experience with scalable production software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, and Python
- Experience with data analysis using SQL and Spark
- Familiarity with CDN (Cloudflare and Fastly) and AWS ecosystems
