Job Summary
To support the infrastructure of UW Medicine, the full-time Network Engineer 3 will guide the maintenance of current systems, lead evaluations of advanced network technologies, and design solutions for improved reliability and security in a fully remote position.

- Guiding the maintenance of current infrastructure and designs
- Leading evaluations of advanced, high-level network technologies

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, implementation, or operations
- Proven experience with advanced security and network infrastructure for large-scale enterprises
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network troubleshooting
- Advanced experience with documentation, integration, and customer support in network environments
