Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Network Engineer will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and deploying company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks while troubleshooting and resolving network issues to enhance performance.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and deploy network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems while providing support for internal and external customers
- Analyze network performance and recommend design changes for improved systems availability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in routing, core switching, firewalls, and Cisco network components
- Proficiency in protocols such as Eigrp, BGP, and VPN
- 2+ years' experience with NetScaler or similar load balancing technologies
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
