Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support critical Mobility Core and IP transport infrastructure, the contract Network/Data Engineer will manage lifecycle provisioning of routers, switches, and terminal servers while working remotely across various locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle lifecycle management activities including hardware and software deployment, upgrades, and maintenance
- Configure and support Mobility Core IP infrastructure, ensuring network reliability and performance through automation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute change management and service assurance activities
Required qualifications:
- Cisco CCNA and/or Juniper JNCIA certification
- Experience in new build configuration on Cisco IOS or Junos OS
- Proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation and scripting
- Knowledge of MPLS VPN architecture and Layer 3 network protocols
- Experience supporting lifecycle management programs and technology migrations within large-scale service provider networks
