Network Engineer II
Job Summary
To support network expansion initiatives, the full-time Network Engineer II will plan and implement network augments and pop builds on the IP/Ethernet network, collaborating with internal teams to efficiently complete implementation projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify areas of backbone congestion and facilitate new IP trunk installations
- Engineer capacity details, including router port and cross-connect specifications
- Update project status and documentation in Salesforce regularly
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in IP routing and network engineering
- Preferred certifications: JNCIA, CCNA
- Familiarity with IP routing fundamentals, including BGP and DNS
- Recent experience troubleshooting router connectivity in complex routed networks
- Proficiency in using a router CLI to provision IP/Ethernet services
