Network Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer II for a remote or hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle technical support requests from customers, as well as escalations from team members and field engineers
• Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including monitoring network equipment and troubleshooting network problems
• Evaluate environment for process improvement and collaborate with team members to provide good service and issue resolution

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of network experience
• Firm understanding of TCP/IP, core networking fundamentals, and basic understanding of routing protocols and wireless LAN technologies
• Intermediate understanding of Cisco ASA, ISR routers, catalyst/nexus switching, and WLAN
• Basic understanding of various WAN connectivity options and design, and intermediate understanding of IPSEC VPN configurations
• Required certifications: CCNA (Routing and Switching or Security), Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), and Cisco CCNP
