Network Observability Compliance Director

Job Summary

Leading the Network Observability and Compliance function, the full-time salaried Network Observability Compliance Director will design and implement observability frameworks, ensure compliance with industry standards, and manage a team of engineers to enhance network performance and security in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the network observability and compliance roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance governance standards
• Implement telemetry strategies and advanced monitoring techniques to gain insights into network behavior and performance
• Mentor and manage a team of observability and compliance engineers, driving the delivery of network compliance practices across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in Network/Security Engineering or Operations, with a focus on integrated networking solutions
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams
• Proven experience designing and implementing network observability and compliance programs that adhere to industry standards
• In-depth knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS CSC, and PCI DSS
