Job Summary
Responsible for communication system planning and operations, the full-time Network Operations Engineer will manage network performance, provide consultation on data and telecommunications services, and support network management systems while working in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns and usage
- Design and implement solutions for network-related issues and oversee routing-related projects
- Collaborate with development teams to manage and maintain proprietary internal applications and automate processes using scripting languages
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of experience in network troubleshooting and incident management in a complex network environment
- Expertise in contemporary network technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP4
- Experience with network management systems such as DHCP, DNS, and SNMP
- Valid driver's license to operate state vehicles as needed
