Network Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a leading provider of firewall management solutions, the full-time Network Security Engineer will collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to install and support firewall management solutions while engaging in software development and testing in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to install and support firewall management solutions for internal R&D
- Provide technical expertise and gather requirements for integrating with various security devices
- Create and execute test cases to ensure code functionality and maintain test labs for R&D support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in network design and support
- Expertise in networking and security tools, including firewalls and routers
- Experience with packet trace and analysis techniques
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and platforms
