Job Summary
To support a strong health tech company, the full-time Network & Security Engineer will manage the security and connectivity of AWS cloud environments, network infrastructure, and internal IT operations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and enhance Site-to-Site VPN and TCP connectivity for clients, including VPC architecture and security configurations
- Continuously monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities across AWS resources and maintain HIPAA-compliant configurations
- Manage device security and identity access management across AWS and internal applications, ensuring compliance and security best practices
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, security engineering, or cloud infrastructure
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS networking and security services, including VPC, Site-to-Site VPN, and Security Hub
- Strong networking fundamentals with experience troubleshooting VPN and TCP connections
- Proven ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements related to cloud infrastructure and networks
