Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Network Security Engineer will manage software development for network security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and test features while supporting firewall management solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to install and support firewall management solutions for R&D
- Gather technical requirements and assist in software design, testing, and integration with various security devices
- Create and execute test cases to ensure proper functionality of code within the application
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of experience in network design and support
- Expertise in Cisco, Check Point, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Experience with network security tools, including firewalls, IPS, routers, and switches
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and packet trace analysis techniques
