Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer II for a remote contract position, responsible for maintaining high system performance, managing secure cloud connections, and ensuring robust connectivity across multi-cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking solutions across Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco environments
- Manage and optimize cloud network infrastructure across Azure and AWS enterprise environments
- Oversee advanced TCP/IP network functions including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF routing protocols, and subnetting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 to 5 years of network engineering or network administration experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Fortinet, Meraki, or Cisco enterprise networking technologies
- Core experience supporting Azure and AWS cloud networking environments
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting tools
