Network Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of network security engineers, the full-time Senior Manager - Network Security Engineering & Ops will ensure the security and reliability of critical network infrastructure, including remote worker technologies and firewalls, while managing 24/7 operational support in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the network security engineering team, fostering a culture aligned with organizational values
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security technologies, ensuring high availability and performance
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical network incidents, leading root cause analysis and incident response efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading network security engineering or related architecture efforts
• Strong knowledge of network security products, including firewalls and load balancers
• Proven experience interfacing with senior management and communicating complex cybersecurity concepts
• CISSP, CISM, CCNP, or other relevant certifications are a plus
