Network Solution Architect - DC/VA/DE/MD
Job Summary
Working fully remote in a full-time capacity, the Senior Network Solution Architect - DC/VA/DE/MD will serve as a critical link between sales and delivery, managing client engagements, developing scalable network solutions, and leading technical architecture discussions across various domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to identify business challenges and develop solution architectures that align with delivery objectives
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert for enterprise networking and network security, guiding architecture across multiple technology platforms
- Develop cost modeling and proposals, preparing technical pitches and ensuring consistency across solution architectures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8-12+ years in IT solution design, network architecture, or technical presales roles
- Expert-level network certification strongly preferred (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, HPE Aruba ACSP/ACMX)
- Demonstrated success influencing senior client stakeholders and mentoring less experienced architects
- Experience with managed services providers (MSP), VAR, or systems integrators (SI) is highly desirable
