Network Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and optimizing CI/CD test automation frameworks, the full-time remote Network Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for automating testing processes, debugging failures, and collaborating with development teams to ensure robust testing of a flagship router product.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD test automation pipelines and test suites using Python
• Automating environment provisioning, traffic generation, network diagnostics, and regression testing
• Debugging failed runs by analyzing logs and distinguishing product bugs from test or environment issues

Required qualifications:

• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in pytest, PTF, sonic-mgmt, and Ansible
• Solid background in CI/CD engineering and automated test orchestration
• Knowledge of routing concepts (BGP, OSPF, VRFs) and experience with SONiC routers
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and CLI-level investigation
• Experience with Docker and good Linux command-line skills
