Job Summary
To support 24x7 operations, the full-time remote Networking Engineer III will design, implement, and maintain enterprise and cloud network infrastructure while collaborating with various teams to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Build, deploy, and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure
- Design and support cloud and hybrid connectivity, primarily in AWS, along with implementing routing and switching technologies
- Monitor and respond to network and security alerts, while mentoring junior team members on complex network issues
Required qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent certifications and experience accepted)
- 7+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and enterprise firewalls, particularly Palo Alto and Cisco
- Cloud networking experience, including virtual networks and VPNs
- Experience with network scripting and automation tools such as Ansible or Python
