Networking Hardware Engineer

Job Summary

Combining expertise in networking hardware with an AI-first mindset, the fully remote Networking Hardware Systems Engineer will develop and maintain a Python-based validation framework to test low-level SDK APIs while engaging directly with clients to gather requirements and shape the testing tool.

Key responsibilities

• Research and define optimal implementations for client requirements and ideas
• Engage with client architects and end-users to gather requirements and clarify edge cases
• Develop and maintain a Python-based validation framework for testing low-level SDK APIs

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with Python for building applications and test automation using pytest
• Ability to read and analyze C/C++ source code to understand hardware behavior
• Experience in testing low-level SDK APIs and hardware driver features
• Strong QA background in test design, API validation, and defect troubleshooting
• Understanding of physical router hardware and components, including NPUs and driver libraries
