Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Coordinator - Remote (Full-Time).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records to assess utilization and documentation of acute care services
  • Facilitate appropriate physician documentation to accurately reflect patient severity of illness and risk of mortality
  • Ensure compliance with external payer and regulatory agency requirements while supporting quality of care outcome reporting


Required Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or International Medical Graduate
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably in critical care, medical/surgical, or Emergency Department nursing
  • Current RN license in the state of practice if applicable
  • Proficiency in computer applications including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of inpatient admission criteria and Medicare reimbursement systems preferred
