Job Summary
To support construction services and environmental consulting projects, the full-time hourly Nevada Licensed GIS Specialist will provide GIS mapping, data management, and technical support while collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance and resource protection in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead projects and tasks, managing geospatial deliverables from start to finish
- Execute complex geoprocessing and spatial analysis in coordination with team members
- Produce cartographic-quality maps and manage large geospatial datasets, ensuring data integrity
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Biology, Archaeology, or a related field with an emphasis in GIS
- Three (3) years of post-education GIS experience in a professional setting
- Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and spatial analysis
- Previous experience as a GIS professional in the environmental consulting industry
- Experience producing cartographic designs and managing geospatial databases
