Nevada Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support pharmacy operations, the full-time Nevada Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage data entry and review of prior authorization requests, assist providers and pharmacies, and resolve escalations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications submitted by providers
• Communicate with providers and pharmacies to follow up on authorization requests and troubleshoot issues
• Document interactions and ensure compliance with state-mandated response times for inquiries

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
• Three years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
• One year of managed care prior authorization experience is preferred
• Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred
• Ability to acquire state registration in multiple states as required
