New Jersey Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a New Jersey Licensed Associate Attorney, the full-time position will manage complex civil defense litigation cases, including multimillion-dollar losses and professional liability, while benefiting from mentorship and opportunities for increased responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies and manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and build relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with colleagues at all experience levels

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar license in the state of New Jersey
• 1-8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy and trial preparation
• Prior insurance defense experience preferred
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial
