New Jersey Licensed Attorney
Job Summary
To support a growing legal practice, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Attorney will manage complex cases, supervise teams, and advise clients while contributing to the firm's strategic direction and operational needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise clients on business transactions and legal rights, and represent them in court and administrative proceedings
- Independently manage cases from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation while supervising associates and staff
- Conduct legal research, draft briefs, and gather evidence to develop strategies for case presentations
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in general liability/insurance defense
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey (additional states a plus)
- Experience in negotiations and mediations
- Superior analytical and research skills
