Job Summary

To support New Jersey Medicaid-funded home care services, the full-time remote Billing and Authorization Specialist will manage billing and claims processing, verify client eligibility, and resolve billing discrepancies while ensuring compliance with Medicaid requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing and claims processing for New Jersey Medicaid-funded home care services
• Verify client Medicaid eligibility, coverage, and managed care enrollment
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, rejected claims, and reimbursement issues

Required Qualifications

• Previous billing or authorization experience within a home care or home health organization
• Working knowledge of New Jersey Medicaid billing, eligibility, and service authorization processes
• Experience navigating Medicaid managed care payer portals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with electronic healthcare records and billing software
