New Jersey Licensed Child Psychiatrist

Job Summary

Seeking a New Jersey Licensed Child Psychiatrist, the part-time contract position will provide virtual evidence-based treatment through 60-minute video appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management while fostering a family-centered approach to care.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and medication management for various mental health conditions
• Engage families in the treatment process and provide guidance on supportive measures at home

Required qualifications:

• Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
• Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment preferred
• Proficiency with computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets)
• Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children and adolescents
• Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care practices
