Job Summary
To provide exceptional diagnostic services for veterinary clients, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Clinical Pathologist will examine clinical pathology specimens, deliver high-quality reports, and engage in continuous professional development while working in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Examine digitally scanned and glass clinical pathology specimens to provide diagnostic evaluations and follow-up consultations
- Deliver high-quality reports and meet or exceed expectations for diagnostic pathology tasks
- Participate actively in team meetings and continuous education to enhance skills and improve outcomes
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent required
- Pathology Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or ECVCP preferred; board-eligible candidates are also welcome to apply
- Familiarity with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine
- Service-oriented attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills
