New Jersey Licensed Clinical Pathologist

Job Summary

Seeking a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Pathologist, the full-time Scientific Director will provide expert scientific interpretation of clinical pathology data, serve as a scientific advisor in a collaborative laboratory environment, and prepare clinical pathology reports for nonclinical safety assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert scientific interpretation and integration of clinical pathology data from nonclinical development studies
• Review non-GLP and GLP study protocols and contribute to the design of clinical pathology endpoints and analyses
• Prepare clear and scientifically rigorous clinical pathology reports for regulatory submissions and safety assessments

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (DVM, preferably MS or PhD) and ACVP board certification in Clinical Pathology or board eligible
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or a contract research organization
• Demonstrated experience with product registration activities and regulatory submissions
• Solid understanding of GLP regulations in a clinical pathology laboratory environment
• Strong comparative clinical pathology expertise with diverse nonclinical species
