Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy benefits management team, a full-time New Jersey Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will manage clinical prior authorization reviews, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines while working in a hybrid schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct clinical evaluations and determinations for prior authorizations in alignment with plan design
- Monitor clinical interventions to meet savings guarantees and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance to members and providers on clinical inquiries and collaborate with internal teams for support
Required qualifications
- Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience in clinical, PBM, or managed care settings
- Active Pharmacist License in good standing (required)
- Prior experience with prior authorization or utilization management preferred
- MTM or other specialty certifications preferred
