New Jersey Licensed Counsel
Job Summary
Providing strategic legal counsel, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Counsel will support Global Product Development by advising on complex transactions and regulatory matters related to pharmaceutical and biologics product development, while collaborating closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the lead legal advisor to Global Product Development, counseling on business strategies and high-value transactions
- Negotiate, structure, and draft development and supply agreements, including those with internal and external manufacturing partners
- Support legal due diligence on business development opportunities and assist in M&A and BD deals related to manufacturing and operations
Required qualifications
- JD (or equivalent) and admission to practice in New Jersey
- 6+ years of legal experience in law firm, in-house, or government roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex product development and commercial agreements
- Familiarity with intellectual property law is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior executives on high-impact legal matters
