Job Summary
To support the 988 Lifeline Services, the per diem New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist will interact therapeutically with clients, assess service requests, and provide appropriate support and referrals, working remotely with a commitment to client-friendly service.
Key responsibilities
- Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner to provide support
- Assesses service requests and responds according to prescribed procedures
- Documents assessments, interventions, and client interactions in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- Four years of relevant full-time paid experience in a mental health field or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist certification
- Experience with crisis intervention and assessment skills
- Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
- Familiarity with documentation procedures in mental health settings
