New Jersey Licensed Oncology Nurse Coordinator
Job Summary
To support comprehensive patient care, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Oncology Nurse Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate safe treatment for patients at Oncology Multidisciplinary sites, utilizing nursing processes and clinical knowledge in pharmacology and chemotherapy administration.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate care for patients presenting to Oncology Multidisciplinary sites
- Utilize the nursing process and therapeutic use of self to provide comprehensive patient care
- Assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site, focusing on acute care needs
Required qualifications
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
- At least 1 year of RN experience in an Oncology setting; 3-5 years preferred
- Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONCC) required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire
